Schools and Libraries Cybersecurity Pilot Program: The Okta Grants Support Program is Here to Help!

Cybersecurity remains a significant issue for schools and libraries, largely due to inadequate funding for protective measures. In June 2024, the FCC introduced a three-year pilot program under the Universal Service Fund to help cover the costs of cybersecurity services and equipment for these institutions. The initiative aims to assess the effectiveness of USF funding in potentially establishing permanent support for cybersecurity in schools and libraries.
