Phillip Porras is a Program Director of Internet Security Research at SRI International鈥檚 Computer Science Laboratory, an SRI Fellow, and cofounder and Chief Scientist of AccuKnox. A leading researcher in computer and network security, his work encompasses intrusion detection, malware analysis, cloud and 5G security, as well as software-defined and wireless networks. He has led large-scale, multi-organizational projects funded by agencies such as DARPA, DoD, DHS, NSF and NSA. He has commercialized cybersecurity innovations through startups and major licensing agreements with companies like Cisco, IBM and Symantec. Porras has published over 100 peer-reviewed papers, earned multiple Best Paper Awards, and holds 35 U.S. patents in information security.
