Advancing Government Fraud Prevention with Snowflake + Peraton

Event Date: August 20, 2025
Hosted By: Snowflake, Peraton & ̽»¨ÊÓƵ

Fraud, waste, and abuse cost the federal government billions each year. With growing data volumes and increasingly sophisticated threats, agencies need modern, scalable tools to stay ahead.

Attendees learned how Snowflake and Peraton are partnering to deliver next-generation fraud prevention solutions tailored for federal missions. Combining Snowflake’s powerful AI Data Cloud with Peraton’s deep domain expertise in fraud analytics, the two organizations have developed Rapid Fraud Intelligence (Rapid FI)—a modular, scalable platform that empowers agencies to act faster and more effectively against fraud.

They walked through real-world use cases, including how Rapid FI was successfully deployed at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) to modernize and scale their Fraud Prevention System (FPS), delivering high-performance analytics on petabytes of data, while reducing operational complexity and cost.

What Attendees Learned:

  • How to build a modern fraud prevention strategy leveraging cloud-scale analytics
  • Key capabilities of the Rapid FI solution and how they can be applied across Public Sector agencies
  • How CMS transitioned from on-premise and Hadoop-based systems to a high-performance fraud analytics platform
  • The benefits of combining Peraton’s fraud expertise with Snowflake’s scalable data architecture
