Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport partnered with Ito to implement real-time tracking for its inter-terminal shuttle service, addressing passenger uncertainty and long wait times. Using GPS devices and a GTFS-RT feed, shuttle locations and arrival predictions were integrated across mobile apps and in-terminal displays. The solution improved passenger confidence, reduced congestion, and enabled more efficient fleet management. This scalable approach sets a new standard for airport mobility, transforming a once-stressful transfer experience into a smooth, data-driven process.
