GitLab is introducing the Maven dependency proxy, a new feature that will enable enterprises to consolidate on the DevSecOps platform for artifact management. The Maven dependency proxy, available in Beta, enables larger organizations to be more efficient by expanding the functionality of GitLab's package registry. The new feature can make pipelines faster and more reliable and can reduce the cost of data transfer since over time most packages will be pulled from the cache.
