Intro to F5 | NGINX Kubernetes Ingress Controller and Rancher

F5, J2R Solutions, and ̽»¨ÊÓÆµ attended the Intro to F5 | NGINX Kubernetes Ingress Controller and Rancher lab. With F5 | NGINX and Rancher Manager, you can deploy and manage your Kubernetes clusters in production, at scale, or on any infrastructure across your hybrid environments. In this lab, attendees gained hands-on experience with the Rancher Kubernetes Engine 2 (RKE2) and deployed NGINX Ingress Controller.

In this module, attendees followed the instructions in a GitHub GIST to configure and deploy Rancher’s Kubernetes Engine 2 (RKE 2). They first covered the different parts of the Cluster Manager interface and then used the Rancher Manager to stand up the RKE 2 cluster. Once the cluster was active, they deployed a lightweight load balancing solution and finally installed the NGINX Kubernetes Ingress Controller.
