The Chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, Jerrold Nadler, described the cyberattack as 鈥渋ncredibly significant and sophisticated.鈥� At the hearing on the breach in July 2022 Matthew Olsen, assistant attorney general of the Justice Department鈥檚 National Security Division testified: 鈥淲hen it comes to the sophisticated nation-state type activity that we see in cyber, the challenge is significant and it鈥檚 very difficult to ever be in a position to say that any system is 100% safe鈥︹��
