The University of Glasgow encountered difficulties in expanding its intrusion detection system (IDS) to keep up with the growing internet traffic for its 30,000 users. By deploying the Gigamon Deep Observability Pipeline, the university gained detailed insight into all 10Gb internet traffic, allowing for effective identification of compromised devices and swift corrective measures.
