This report examines Houthi military drills and operations highlighting new maritime capabilities, including the debut of the Al‑Qari’a unmanned underwater vehicle (UUV) resembling an Iranian “loitering torpedo.” It documents simulated attacks using UUVs, unmanned surface vessel WBIEDs, sea mines, armed UAVs, and the use of onboard IEDs against the MV Sounion. The findings underscore the Houthis’ expanding maritime threat and increasing reliance on Iranian technology for advanced underwater and remote attack systems.
